Retreat Hosts • Community Builders • Co-Founders of Bodhi Retreats

Jeremey and Stacey Place are the co-hosts of Bodhi Retreats and co-owners of Villa Bodhicitta, a private retreat sanctuary in Tulum, Mexico. After more than 12 years in corporate America, they felt called to create heart-centered spaces for healing and transformation through plant medicine. They have experience organizing intimate, small-group retreats alongside trusted facilitators, musicians, and wellness practitioners.

Jeremey, a U.S. Army veteran, brings a grounded and steady presence, while Stacey, an educator with a Master’s in Education, offers organization and a passion for natural health and wellness. Together, they ensure each retreat is held with warmth and integrity, helping guests feel safe, supported, and reconnected with a deeper sense of purpose.

In Their Words

The voices of our guests reflect the true impact of our work. Read their testimonials to discover how our retreats inspire meaningful growth and lasting transformation.

“Attending this retreat is an opportunity to open our minds and allow the medicines to grace us with the gifts that we are meant to receive.  We are all worthy of love, and it’s so nice to be reminded of that. Sharing this journey of growth and integration with beautiful and understanding people is something I’ll be grateful for for the rest of my life.”

Rachel C.

“The retreat activities really allowed me to be present in the moment. At home, I have a busy career, and it’s hard to not be consumed by the phone calls and emails.  I’m thankful that here, from morning until night, we had ceremonies, scheduled workshops, or excursions that helped me stay grounded and fully present.”

Paul B.

“After sitting with these plant medicines in ceremony, I look at life differently now.  I’ve learned to be softer to life’s challenges and now I can see problems from a new perspective.  These medicines are a tool that can help us grow closer, love more fully, and heal- both individually and collectively.”
